The Architecture Room in the 2017 Summer Exhibition

© Royal Academy of Arts, London

Join us in the galleries for a private breakfast and tour with this year’s Architecture Room Curator Piers Gough RA, who will discuss this year’s themes and submissions in depth.

Architecture has been at the heart of the Royal Academy since its Foundation in 1768 and through the Summer Exhibition, now in its 250th year, the public have been able to peruse Royal Academician Architects’ designs and models alongside other contemporary well-established and emerging practices. This year the Architecture Room will celebrate the esteemed, but often overlooked, model.
