Gauguin and the Impressionists
We invite Patrons to join us for a curator-led tour of our exhibition 'Gauguin and the Impressionists, Masterpieces from the Ordrupgaard Collection'.
This is an opportunity for Patrons to see the exhibition ahead of the public opening, accompanied by a curator-led tour of the exhibition.
The Ordrupgaard Collection in Denmark is home to some of the most important Impressionist paintings in northern Europe. Next spring, we showcase 60 of its works by painters such as Manet, Monet, Renoir, Pisarro, Morisot and Degas – many of which have never been seen in the UK.
This exhibition is a unique chance to view the Ordupgaard Collection’s treasure trove of Impressionist works, from Monet and Degas, to pre-Impressionist artists like Corot and Courbet, as well as artists associated with the Barbizon School such as Dupre and Daubigny.
Exhibition organised by Ordrupgaard, Copenhagen and the Royal Academy of Arts.
