America after the Fall: Painting in the 1930s
Join us for Patrons Dining Club to celebrate the opening of ‘America after the Fall: Painting in the 1930s’. Continue the conversation and discuss the exhibition with fellow art-lovers.
America after the Fall: Painting in the 1930s brings together works by Jackson Pollock, Georgia O’Keeffe and Edward Hopper, and sees Grant Wood’s iconic American Gothic visit Britain for the first time.
The art of 1930s America tells the story of a nation in flux. Artists responded to rapid social change and economic anxiety with some of the 20th century’s most powerful art – brought together now in this once-in-a-generation show.
The Patrons Dining Club costs £70 and includes a three course dinner with wine. 30 places are available.
