Tottenham Court Road Station
Free, booking required. Architecture Patrons only.
Join us for a special private tour of Tottenham Court Road tube station, with architects Hawkins/Brown and Crossrail's art programme manager providing an exclusive insight into the architecture, engineering and art at this vibrant station.
As Europe’s largest infrastructure project, Crossrail is building 42km of new tunnels, ten new stations and improving 30 more. The finished railway will be named the Elizabeth line when it opens in central London in 2018. When complete, Tottenham Court Road will be one of London’s busiest stations, offering an interchange between the Northern, Central and Elizabeth line services with more than 200,000 passengers passing through the station every day.
Lead architects Hawkins/Brown, who are working with Crossrail and Transport for London to deliver the new integrated station, and Crossrail’s art programme manager deliver this exclusive patrons' tour.
