Friday 12 May 2023 11am - 1.30pm
Clore Learning Centre | Burlington Gardens
Free, drop in
Create textured prints using everyday items at this workshop for adults who face barriers to accessing the arts.
At this in-person workshop inspired by artworks in the RA collection, you’ll combine a variety of printmaking techniques using found materials, drawing, and painting to create your own block print.
The session will be led by artist Rachel McGivern alongside a small team of experienced assistants. Carers, friends, and additional support staff are welcome and recommended, particularly if one-to-one support is required.
This session is drop-in, allowing you to arrive at any time and stay for as long as feels comfortable. There will be a breakout space available but due to the format, we cannot predict how busy the space will become and therefore cannot ensure that the environment will be suitable for everyone.
To help us best meet the needs of those attending, please complete this short form to share your access requirements with us in advance.
