Encourage students to think like an artist at our exhibition tour and practical workshop responding to ‘Gauguin and the Impressionists’ and the RA Collection.

In this tour and workshop, students will compare and discuss portraits from the RA collection.

Our artist educators will help students create their own portraits and improve their developing practice by exploring proportion and expression. They will also learn how to capture attributes like identity and pose.

Students will visit the exhibition Gauguin and the Impressionists focusing on masterpieces by Gauguin, Renoir, and their contemporaries.
