Friends are invited to the premiere workshop in urban photography with John Nassari at the Royal Academy.
John Nassari has is an Olympus Visionary, with extensive experience of shooting outdoors for editorial, advertising, luxury brands and more. Set against the iconic scenes of Mayfair, this is the perfect opportunity for beginners and experienced photographers looking to improve their technique.
John Nassari’s diverse career has cultivated his unique ability to capture moments and emotions in beautiful ways. His work has been displayed in settings such as the National Portrait Gallery, the Town House Gallery, Egypt, and the Pantheon Gallery, Cyprus.
In this workshop you will learn how to take professional images outdoors. The session will begin just before dusk and end in the evening, providing the opportunity to work with the changing light in an urban environment. On this fun and educative workshop you will learn the theory behind taking the perfect picture, which can be applied to any camera. After a short theory session, the group will move outdoors to the iconic facade of the Royal Academy and onto the surrounding streets of Piccadilly and Mayfair.
In this 3 hour session you will practice your photography skills with a professional model, and your fellow students before returning to the RA where you are invited to reflect on your session and enjoy a drink in the surroundings of the RA’s Fine Rooms.
Ticket price includes a welcome drink. Booking is essential for this event; if you wish to bring a guest please book one ticket for each person.
