In the Age of Giorgione
Join a life drawing class like no other; this theatrical class invites Friends to put pencil to paper in a session inspired by Renaissance master Giorgione’s depictions of women.
Art Macabre resurrect the fun and playfulness of putting pencil to paper through creative, experience-led workshops. Believing passionately that everyone can enjoy experimenting with drawing given the right inspiration, Art Macabre injects theatricality into their classes.
Friends are invited to participate in a theatrical life drawing salon inspired by Giorgione’s depictions of women, from idealised goddess to portraits showing earthly ageing. Create your own sketches and chalk portraits from observation, as two contrasting models pose nude. With narrative, props and period music to help create a relaxed, atmospheric drawing experience, this salon is suitable for all levels of experience, including beginners.
Ticket price includes a welcome drink. Booking is essential for this event; if you wish to bring a guest please book one ticket for each person.
