Friends of the RA book first
Friends of the RA are invited to join a series of talks and workshops during Friends Week celebrating the intersection between fashion and art. Here, florist and illustrator Harriet Parry will demonstrate the techniques behind her beautiful and distinctive floral headpieces.
Harriet Parry is a London-based florist and illustrator known for her delicate and enchanting paintings, and extravagant flower crowns. At this special workshop for Friends Week, she will be talking about the inspiration behind her floral designs and her editorial styling work, designer collaborations and work with brands and companies. Friends will learn how to create their very own piece of imaginative flower fashion using seasonal blooms.
Always with artistic flair, while staying true to customer demographics and brand image, Harriet uses a painterly approach when arranging flowers using colours, textures and shapes; her designs reference fashion, art, interior and design trends, as well as historical influences. Her impressive portfolio includes editorial shoots for the likes of Tatler.
Ticket price includes a welcome drink. Booking is essential for this event; if you wish to bring a guest please book one ticket for each person.
