Join Keeper of the RA Schools and Royal Academician, Rebecca Salter for a tour of her studio in the Keeper's House.
This year, the RA Schools celebrates its 250th anniversary. In this tour, current Keeper of the Schools, Rebecca Salter RA takes you into her studio with the Royal Academy and will discuss the future plans for the longest running art school in the UK.
In 2014 Rebecca was elected as a Royal Academician by the Royal Academy of Arts and in 2017 was elected Keeper of the Royal Academy. A role totally unique to the Royal Academy, the Keeper is responsible for our art school, the RA Schools. Elected from among our RAs, the Keeper makes sure we continue to deliver the highest standards of teaching and academic performance. We give every Keeper their own studio space here at the RA so they can continue creating their own work.
Taking place throughout Friends Week, we are offering Friends of the RA a unique opportunity to gain insight to the inner workings of the Royal Academy through talks, tours, workshops, stories and anecdotes from the experts.
This event is open to members of the Academicians’ Room, Friends of the RA and RA250 Friends and RA250 Supporters.
Members of the Academicians' Room, please call 020 7300 8090 to book. Friends of the RA can book by phone or online.
