Friends of the RA book first
Enjoy a private lunch with our President of the Royal Academy, Christopher Le Brun, and seven of your guests at this exclusive opportunity to hear first-hand about plans for the Royal Academy's future.
This is an opportunity to join our President of the Royal Academy Christopher Le Brun PRA, for lunch at the Royal Academy. You, the President and your seven guests will enjoy a three-course meal, paired with exquisite wines, while hearing directly from the President about the exciting plans for our 250th anniversary in 2018.
Tickets to this event include a donation to support the redevelopment of the RA. Your donations will help us achieve our most ambitious project to date: transforming the RA by linking our two historic buildings for the first time, building a breathtaking new Lecture Theatre, creating new galleries for exhibitions and additional spaces at our RA Schools.
For nearly 250 years, the RA has made its mark on millions of art lovers. Art is made here; and so are artists. We create, debate and exhibit great works of art. Now it’s your turn. Make your mark on us. Become part of our story, as we thrive for the next 250 years.
This event has now sold out. Tickets for our round table lunch with the Royal Academy’s Chief Executive, where you’ll hear first-hand about our plans for the Academy’s future, are still available.
We’re transforming the Royal Academy in time for our 250th birthday in 2018. Alongside an expanded programme of world-class exhibitions, our building redevelopment will reveal the elements that make the RA unique – our historic Collection, the work of the artists and architects who run the RA, and the art school at the heart of our campus. The development will ensure we can continue to meet our founding principles: to present a broad range of art to the widest possible audience; to stimulate artistic debate, understanding and creation; and offer free education to the next generation of leading artists.
Please join us in making this ambitious project possible through a range of unique experiences and support opportunities from the Royal Academy.
