Klimt / Schiele
Due to popular demand, we have extended our opening hours on selected dates for 'Klimt / Schiele: Drawings from the Albertina Museum' – exclusively for Friends of the RA.
This exhibition contains some adult content. Please ask a member of staff for further information.
1918 was a seismic year in Vienna. As the Austro-Hungarian Empire crumbled, an intense period of creative vitality ended with the deaths of two of its foremost artists: the preeminent and strikingly modern painter of fin-de-siècle Vienna, Gustav Klimt and the young, scandalous and prodigiously talented Egon Schiele. Now, 100 years later, don’t miss your chance to see some of the 20th century’s most important works on paper in this once-in-a-lifetime show.
Exhibition organised by the Royal Academy of Arts, London and the Albertina Museum, Vienna.
Booking essential.
These extended hours are open to Friends of the RA, RA250 Friends and Supporters and member of the Academicians' Room.
'Klimt / Schiele: Drawings from the Albertina Museum, Vienna' is held in our smaller, Sackler Wing of Galleries and we expect demand to be high. To ensure the best possible experience, Friends are required to book a free, timed ticket for themselves and their guest for the full duration of the exhibition, including their Friends Previews and exclusive extended hours.
If you have booked tickets and can no longer attend, please contact the Ticketing Team on tickets@royalacademy.org.uk or call 020 7300 8090.
