Booking and attending Friends excursions and events
Friends of the RA tour Rodmarton Manor, a house crafted in true accordance with the Arts and Crafts movement, even down to the furniture.
Friends will enjoy an exclusive tour of Rodmarton Manor by the Biddulph family and have an opportunity to explore the Manor’s beautiful gardens. The majority of the furniture at Rodmarton Manor was made especially for the house, either in local Cotswolds workshops, or by the Barnsley Brothers and Peter Waals.
After lunch, Friends will visit nearby Sapperton, for a walking tour viewing the exteriors of other arts and crafts houses in the village. The tour will also call in on Sapperton Church, which features Jacobean panelling removed from the Sapperton Manor House that originally stood on the Rodmarton site. The day will be rounded off with tea in the Arts and Crafts Sapperton Village Hall.
