Join guide Karen Chester on a walk that delves deep into the features of the City: plaques, signs and statues, heraldry and hagiography.
To the casual visitor, the City of London can be rather confounding – a mysterious mixture of historic traditions with modern power. However, the story of the City is visible everywhere, if you know how to read it. Friends explore ancient streets, churches, and pubs; as well as the history of livery companies.
This event is also taking place on 7 September 2016.
