Intrigue: James Ensor by Luc Tuymans
In January 2017 we will celebrate 40 years of Friends of the Royal Academy. Founded in 1977 to support the RA Schools and exhibitions, Friends are the lifeblood of the RA. Join us for an evening of entertainment and festivities as we mark this special anniversary.
Join us for a drinks reception to celebrate 40 years of the Friends scheme. Guests will enjoy an evening of sparkling wine in the Royal Academy’s historic Fine Rooms. There will be speeches from President of the RA, Christopher Le Brun and Chief Executive Charles Saumarez Smith about the successes of the past 40 years and the plans for the future of the Academy. Friends can also enjoy a private view of Intrigue: James Ensor by Luc Tuymans, explore four decades of iconic exhibition posters and view the winning entries from the Friends 40th anniversary competition.
Tickets include a drinks reception.
