Participate in an interactive storytelling and art making session featuring Māori tales of creation, the sea, and the trickster demigod Māui.
Take part in an interactive storytelling session to learn all about Māori tales of the Milky Way and creation, as well as stories featuring the demigod, Māui.
Hear stories about fishing, and discover why the shark is considered sacred in Māori culture. After, you will learn how to count to ten in the Māori language, and create your own artwork inspired by stories of the sea and its creatures to take home.
Suitable for children ages 5+. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
