Eco-Visionaries
Reimagine the city of London using melted, recycled plastics in this workshop inspired by our 'Eco-Visionaries' exhibition, led by Black Females in Architecture.
Be amazed at how ordinary plastic waste can be repurposed into a lasting design in this workshop led by Black Females in Architecture.
Explore different stages of metamorphosis and see how familiar plastic objects can be shredded into pellets, then melted and poured into a mould. We'll use these processes to make model buildings that we'll plot onto a map, culminating into a miniature city that's entirely recycled and inspired by the speculative architectural designs in Eco-Visionaries.
The workshop will include a 45 minute break at 1pm. Participants will be granted free entry for a self-guided visit to Eco-Visionaries during the break or following the workshop.
All materials included. Suitable for children aged 7+ and their families.
