Antony Gormley
Join a creative workshop for community groups and make your own creations inspired by the work of Antony Gormley.
Explore the diverse and immersive works of Antony Gormley spanning his 45-year career. Gormley’s most ambitious show in over a decade, this exhibition will explore the artist’s wide-ranging use of organic, industrial and elemental materials. The works of art in this show will ask visitors to slow down and consider their own bodies as they peruse Gormley’s large-scale, site-specific installations.
In this session, an artist educator will support participants to view and respond to a variety of artworks in the exhibition. Afterwards, they will be guided to create their own artwork in response to the pieces they’ve seen and discussed.
Refreshments and volunteer support is provided.
