Enter a world of colour at this session for under fives.

We’ll explore how colour can be incorporated into our making and playing at this early years studio. Join us to mix, layer, experiment, and experience colour in a multitude of ways.

Our early years studio programme is a series of regular, child-led creative sessions that are drop-in and designed for under 5’s and their caregivers. Devised and led by artist Amy Leung, the studio space will be full of materials, objects and textures that can be used for child-led play and inquiry. Come along and explore in your own way and at your own pace.

Sessions are supported by a team of experienced assistants and provide options for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. They offer an open and collaborative space where children and families can play, explore, and investigate together.

Due to the popularity of these workshops, we cannot guarantee a space for everyone on arrival and you may be asked to wait a short while. However we have found that the afternoon sessions are often quieter. Activity packs are available for queuing families to use around the RA.

For those travelling with buggies, we recommend entering the building via the Burlington Gardens accessible entrance.
