Archivist Penny Fussell leads our special tour of Drapers' Hall, which has some of the most sumptuous interiors of all the Livery Halls in London.
Our tour includes the impressive Entrance Hall with the Company’s extensive collection of royal portraits, the Drawing Room with fine plasterwork and a carpet in the Aubusson style, commissioned in 1925 from the Morris & Co. factory. Friends visit the Court Dining Room with its magnificent Gobelin silk woven tapestries, a stunning ceiling painted by Felix Joseph Barrias and fine portraits of the Duke of Wellington and Nelson, as well as the renowned portrait of Her Majesty the Queen by Sergei Pavlenko.
This event is also taking place on 14 January 2016.
