250th Summer Exhibition
A creative workshop inspired by artworks in the 2018 Summer Exhibition.
In the RA's 250th year, Grayson Perry RA takes the helm to coordinate the world’s longest running and largest open-submission show: the Summer Exhibition. The Summer Exhibition continues in the tradition of providing emerging and established artists a unique platform to showcase their work. Explore a variety of work in all media, including painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, architecture and film.
In this session, two artist educators will support attendees to explore and respond to a variety of artworks in the galleries. Afterwards, attendees will be guided to create their own artworks in response to themes and techniques they have experienced in the exhibition.
These workshops are designed for groups working with disabled adults or adults at risk of exclusion from arts and culture. We advise groups are not more than 15 people so we can ensure everyone attending is properly supported to engage with the workshop.
This event will also be held on 26 June
