Friends and Academicians’ Room members life drawing: building a formal group
An exclusive opportunity to enjoy monthly life-drawing sessions for Friends and Academicians’ Room members in the Sir Hugh Casson Room, designed to be both rewarding and fun. These practical sessions provide expert-led tuition in a social and welcoming environment. This month’s session concentrates on building a formal group.
The model will take up a series of poses moving around the platform, the aim of which is to establish a relationship between each drawing. Notions of scale to express the near and far, as well as weight of mark will be the primary tools. The final image will form a cohesive compositional narrative. Each pose will be roughly 30-40 minutes in duration.
