Terms and conditions
An exclusive opportunity for Friends and Academicians’ Room members to enjoy monthly life-drawing sessions in the Sir Hugh Casson Room, designed to be both rewarding and fun. This month’s session concentrates on working with blocks of tone.
During this session participants will be encouraged to model the figure with blocks of tone. By turning their crayon/charcoal broad side on they will strip away borders and boundaries, the figure will be expressed by pushing tone back and forth arriving at an edge rather than starting with it. Pressure will be increased as the form moves away and decreased as it moves closer. Poses will vary from long to more sustained - but this will be used more in the shorter poses.
