Enjoy an exclusive life drawing session for Friends and Academicians’ Room members in the historic Life Room, concentrating on surface and form.

In this session, participants will be encouraged to draw what they see as opposed to what they know. Concentrating on surface and form, models will adopt a range of poses that accentuate one or more of the muscle groups. Participants will consider how this impacts the plane and surface, with particular focus on the back and the shoulder blade.

Whether you are a regular, would like to hone your skills or try life drawing for the first time, these three-hour regular and immersive sessions – taught by expert teacher and practising artist Mick Kirkbride – are a wonderful way to experience life drawing in a supportive and friendly environment.

This event is open to Friends of the RA, RA250 Friends and RA250 Supporters, and members of the Academicians’ Room only.
