Contemporary Circle Patrons: Phyllida Barlow RA Studio Visit
Tuesday 23 February 2016 6.30 - 8.30pm
Finsbury Park, London
£10. Payment on RSVP.
Phyllida Barlow, elected an RA in 2011, is known for her bold installation pieces, tactile sculptures and assembled forms.
She creates imposing structures made from everyday materials such as cardboard, timber and fabric, all precariously balanced and brightly coloured. Her installations take over the space that holds them, producing a monumentality that is offset by the fragile nature of the items used.
Join us as we meet Phyllida in her North London studio, and hear about her past and future projects, as well as the nature of her practice.
Full address provided on RSVP. Limited availability.
