An Interact talk at the RA

A tour of ‘From Life’ in British Sign Language (BSL).

Beginning with historic works from the RA Collection that detail 18th-century artistic practice in the Royal Academy’s art school, From Life will trace a line from the RA’s beginnings to the present day, exhibiting work by leading artists such as Jenny Saville and Gillian Wearing.

Get a glimpse of possible future applications of virtual reality through new works by Jonathan Yeo, and architect Farshid Moussavi RA, who explore new techniques to observe and represent themselves and the world around them. Join BSL presenter Melinda Napier as we tour this exhibition reviewing past, present and future approaches to making art from life.
