An Interact talk at the RA

A tour of ‘Dalí / Duchamp’ in British Sign Language (BSL)

Our Dalí / Duchamp exhibition brings together the work of two artistic giants: father of conceptual art Marcel Duchamp and larger-than-life Surrealist Salvador Dalí. Dawn Ades, co-curator of this exhibition, explains that it was their shared interest in “humour, the erotic, […] and above all a non-conformist spirit” that united the pair.

Join BSL presenter Rubbena Aurangzeb-Tariq to explore Dalí’s paintings and sculptures and Duchamp’s groundbreaking assemblages and readymades, as we guide you to discover more about their correspondence, collaborations and shared artistic interests.
