Summer Exhibition 2019
Blind and partially sighted visitors are invited on an audio-described tour of the Summer Exhibition, followed by refreshments and a handling session.
The Summer Exhibition is the world’s largest open submission art show and brings together a collage-like display of art in all mediums – prints and paintings, film, photography, sculpture, architectural works and more – by leading artists, Royal Academicians and household names as well as new and emerging talent.
Our annual celebration of art and creativity continues this year with acclaimed British painter Jock McFadyen RA taking the mantle from Grayson Perry RA to coordinate the 251st Summer Exhibition. Join us for an interactive audio described tour of the exhibition that will include the opportunity for attendees to touch a number of the works on display.
