Friends enjoy a tour of Armourers' and Brasier’s Hall, which has occupied its City of London site since 1346.
After surviving the Great Fire of London, the Hall was completely rebuilt in 1839 to become the beautiful listed building seen today, with its stunning blend of 16th and 17th century armour, weapons and paintings. The tour, led by the clerk, will examine the history of the company and the artworks which include Tudor portraits by Marcus Gheerarts and de Criz, as well as armour belonging to Elizabeth I’s Queen’s Champion, Sir Henry Lee.
Includes coffee.
