RA Collection: Art

View of the Royal Academy Library when it was situated on the ground floor of Burlington House. Designed by Samuel Ware, the room was originally divided by a colonnade. The bronze bust of Augustus John R.A. is by Francis Derwent Wood R.A. (03/1705). The clock above the doorcase is a mantel clock in a mahogany case (08/3002).
