RA Collection: Art

View of the Royal Academy Library when it was situated on the ground floor of Burlington House. Designed by Samuel Ware, the room was originally divided by a colonnade. The mahogany hall chair, c.1790 is one of eight, three of which are housed in the current Library. The bronze bust of Augustus John R.A. is by Francis Derwent Wood R.A. (03/1705).
