F.L. Griggs RA, Tattershall Holy Trinity

Tattershall Holy Trinity, 1912

F.L. Griggs RA (1876 - 1938)

RA Collection: Art

This drawing of Tattershall Church was reproduced as 'Tattershall Church and the Bain' in The Highways and Byways of Lincolnshire by W.F. Rawnsley (1914). Over a period of forty years F.L. Griggs illustrated twelve volumes of the series, published by Macmillan & Co. While Griggs is best-known for his etchings, some consider his illustrations to the 'Highways and Byways' series to be his most substantial achievement.
