Oriana Georgiana Reinagle, Studies of foliage

Studies of foliage

Attributed to Oriana Georgiana Reinagle (1794 - 1875)

RA Collection: Art

A sheet of foliage studies in pencil. This drawing is very similar to others in the collection by Oriana Georiana Reinagle, daughter of Phillip Reinagle, and is probably her work. She seems to have been following J.D. Harding's system for drawing trees and may have been teaching a pupil or developing her own variation of the system.
