Oriana Georgiana Reinagle, Sketches and notes on how to draw trees

Sketches and notes on how to draw trees

Attributed to Oriana Georgiana Reinagle (1794 - 1875)

RA Collection: Art

A sheet of notes and examples of how to draw tree trunks and foliage. This is very similar to drawings of trees by Oriana Georgiana Reinagle, daughter of Philip Reinagle, and is probably her work. She may have been teaching someone to draw. The system for drawing trees and foliage is likely to be related to that developed by J.D. Harding.
