Photograph of a sketch figure for the Ashton Memorial, Lancaster. The memorial, designed by Sir John Belcher and J.J. Joass, was commissioned by Lord Ashton as a tribute to his late wife, Jessie Ashton.

One of a collection of 67 photographs of sculpture by Francis Derwent Wood R.A. The photographs formerly belonged to Kineton Parkes.
