Photographed in the studio of the house designed for Leighton by George Aitchison R.A. (1825-1910) in Holland Park Road. In the background of the photograph, to the left, can be seen a model of 'The Sluggard', while on the table to Leighton's right is a model of 'Athlete struggling with a Python'. Full size, plaster painted bronze versions of both sculptures are in the Academy's collection.
