Probably photographed at 28 Albert Gate or Poynter's studio at The Avenue, 76 Fulham Road [copyright form dated 1883 at The National Archives, Kew]. On the easel to Poynter's right is one of the designs for the dome of St Paul's. On the two easels facing him are 'The Ides of March' and a version of 'The Meeting of Solomon and the Queen of Sheba'.
