Two photographs relating to the 167th Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts.
10/1247 by an unidentified photographer working for Topical Press Agency shows the exterior of Burlington House May 1935 with decorations for the Silver Jubilee of King George V.
10/1248 shows the arrival of two works 'Sun-Bathers' by L. M. Glasson and 'Workmen in the House' by Sir Stanley Spencer R.A. Spencer resigned in April 1935 because the Hanging Committee withdrew two of his five submitted paintings. He later re-joined in 1950.
