From: Joseph Parkin Mayall

RA Collection: Art

One of the founder members of the St John's Wood Clique, Calderon and his parents had been living in the area from the 1850's. From 1876 to 1886 Calderon was living at 16 Grove End Road and it was here the photograph was taken. A form lodging ownership of copright (to J.P.Mayall) was completed in September 1883, this gives the location as Weston Lodge, 16 Grove End Road.
