Philip Reinagle RA, Drawing of Philip, Jane and Charlotte Reinagle

Drawing of Philip, Jane and Charlotte Reinagle

Philip Reinagle RA (1749 - 1833)

RA Collection: Art

This sheet has a drawing by Philip Reinagle on one side and another by Sawrey Gilpin on the other. This is quite unusual but there is at least one other instance of an artist drawing on the verso of another's work in the Royal Academy collection - on the back of two of B.R. Haydon's drawings are sketches by his friend David Wilkie.
