Design for north wall of entrance hall, Burlington House, Piccadilly, Westminster, London: elevation, c.1816

Samuel Ware (1781 - 1860)

RA Collection: Art

The inscription at the bottom of the sheet correctly states that this is Ware's design for the North wall of the Entrance Hall at Burlington House "doorway to new Staircase Hall". It also notes that the Corinthian doorcase was later removed to the middle doorway on the south side, probably by Sir T.G. Jackson.
