A pen and ink sketch of the courtyard of Russell House in Broadway, close to Parson's home. The house was owned by his friend Francis David Millet. In the foreground is foliage and a bird perching on a small trough, with the building behind. On the right is a plaque bearing the date '1791' and the roof of the building is topped by a chimney stack with a bird or weather vane on top. The drawing is within a loosely drawn rectangular border.
