Baron Carlo Marochetti RA (January 1805 - 1867)
RA Collection: Art
Carlo Marochetti may have sculpted this bust of Landseer to mark the success of their collaboration on the four great lions for the corners of Nelson's Column, Trafalgar Square. Landseer was commissioned to sculpt the lions in 1858. They were cast by Marochetti in 1866 and positioned in 1867.
