Samuel Ware (1781 - 1860)

RA Collection: Art

An alternative design to RA 06/4827. This side elevation of the great staircase shows balustrade railings similar to those in RA 06/4825. The west wall is decorated on the ground floor with an alcove and on the first floor with a large decoratively framed panel to take the Ricci painting, and a door with cornice. There are flat decorative pilasters on each level.
