Oriana Georgiana Reinagle, A tree with two fallen branches on the ground

A tree with two fallen branches on the ground

Attributed to Oriana Georgiana Reinagle (1794 - 1875)

RA Collection: Art

A pencil drawing of a tree with two fallen branches next to it on the ground. This drawing is very similar to others in the Royal Academy collection by Oriana Georgiana Reinagle, daughter of Phillip Reinagle, and is probably her work. Reinagle seems to have been following J.D. Harding's system for drawings trees and may have been teaching a pupil or working on her own variation of Harding's system.
