Oriana Georgiana Reinagle, A group of trees

A group of trees

Attributed to Oriana Georgiana Reinagle (1794 - 1875)

RA Collection: Art

A pencil drawing of a group of trees. This is very similar to drawings in the Royal Academy collection by Oriana Georgiana Reinagle, daughter of Philip Reinagle and is almost certainly her work. The drawings are probably related to J. D. Harding's system for drawing trees and Reinagle may have been teaching someone how to draw or working on her own variation of the system.
