General Note

This work was originally presented in two parts: the text printed as a pamphlet measuring 28 cm. with the ten engravings printed separately preceded by a 'List of Engravings'. The copy in the Royal Academy has the pages of the pamphlet mounted on sheets the same size as the engravings and bound together in one volume.

The work was printed by the Chiswick Press: C. Whittingham and Co. Tooks Court, Chancery Lane.

Binding Note

The work is in green quarter-bound leather with gilt lettering on the spine, 'Pinturicchio's Frescoes in the Piccolomini LIbrary at Siena.' and 'R.A.'
