This appears to be an invitation to subscribe to an engraving to be produced by Davide Testi after a panel by Michelangelo Buonarroti entitled 'La Fortuna' in the possession of Vincenzo Botti who was to publish the engraving in 1849. The paper wrapper with the title and publication details on the front cover has, on the back cover, the planned size of the engraving and the prices. Also, lightly pasted to the inside of the back cover is a sheet for a subscriber to fill in to place his order. [A copy exists in the Fogg Art Museum, Harvard University, Cambridge, Mass. catalogued as 'La Fortuna'; a copy in the Victoria & Albert Museum catalogues the print as 'St. Catherine on the Wheel'.]
