Draft letter, asking for advice, after he had been informed of a motion in the House for the withdrawal of the royal warrant, or royal patronage, in view of the RA's retrograde influence: since the first three years of the existence of the RA, the institution had received no help from anyone and they had paid their own way - with increasing difficulty.
