First established in 1968 in Camden by Dorothea Wight and Geoffrey Birdsall, ex-students of Anthony Gross at the Slade; moved to old Sainsbury's shop former in Queen's Crescent in 1969; Geoffrey Birdsall emigrated to Australia in 1969; Dorothea Wight worked with Marc Balakjian from 1969.
